Design Concept: I’Sagua is “to flow, like water” in the native language of Chamorro. Designed with natural materials and ‘weathered’ forms inspired by the ocean cliffs of Saipan. Guests are meant to move around the curved shapes and across the tactile surfaces of the spa in much the same way the ocean flows around the cliffs.

Program Components: An unused restaurant space was converted into six treatment rooms, three pools, locker rooms and overnight suite. The center of the space is a large stone ‘nest’, a hot pool surrounded by curved slate walls dripping cool water.
